Dr. Rimoin is a Professor of Epidemiology at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. She is the Gordon-Levin Endowed Chair in Infectious Diseases and Public Health. Dr. Rimoin is the director of the Center for Global and Immigrant Health and is an internationally recognized expert on emerging infections, global health, surveillance systems, and vaccination.

Cathy Lang, PhD, is the Assistant Dean for Research and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Community Health Sciences Department. She holds a doctorate in public health, with an emphasis in health education and promotion. She leads the Office of Research at the school and provides research administration support and guidance on research policies for faculty, students, and staff. She has experience in designing and creating interactive multimedia computer programs and web sites for various subject-areas, as well as using web-based questionnaires for evaluation.
