Mission

The Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at UCLA Fielding aims to build partnerships with individuals, families, corporations, and foundations whose philanthropic goals align with the school’s mission of impactful research, excellence in education, and service in partnership with communities in pursuit of its goal of building a healthier future.

The office stewards relationships and facilitates gifts to UCLA Fielding through a number of philanthropic initiatives, including:

• FSPH Greatest Needs
• Student Applied Practice Experience (APEx) Fellowships (formerly known as Fieldwork Fellowships)
• Faculty Excellence Fund

Alumni Affairs

The Office of Development and Alumni Affairs at UCLA Fielding oversees programs and services designed to enrich the lives of FSPH alums and create opportunities to keep them involved in the school’s present and future. Opportunities throughout the school assist graduates with professional development as well as networking and relationship-building with students, faculty, and peers across the many disciplines of public health. UCLA Fielding engages with graduates through partnerships with the Public Health Alumni Association, the Health Policy and Management Alumni Association, the UCLA Alumni Association, the FSPH Alumni-Student Mentorship Program, events on the latest developments in public health, and more.
