"COVID-19 cases no longer declining in Los Angeles County"
Fox News interviewed Dr. Anne Rimoin about how best to prepare for a possible COVID-19 BA.2 or XE surge in southern California.

Fox News (KTTV-TV) interviewed Dr. Anne Rimoin, UCLA Fielding School of Public Health professor of epidemiology and the Gordon-Levin Endowed Chair in Infectious Diseases and Public Health, about how best to prepare for a possible COVID-19 Omicron subvariant BA.2 or XE surge in southern California, following trends in Europe.
“What we see happening in Europe often happens here in the United States soon after,” Rimoin said. “It’s important for us very vigilant, to be watching the data, and to do what we can sensibly to be prepared should we have another surge.”
FOX 11 was joined by epidemiologist Dr. Anne Rimoin as we monitor what's next when it comes to the next wave of COVID-19.
