FSPH’s Public Data Portal
The Fielding School announced the launch of its FSPH Public Data Portal, steeped in the knowledge that making data widely available is key to research transforming into sustainable impact and sound policy.
The portal is already home to a variety of FSPH publicly available data, including:
- California Health Interview Survey (CHIS), based at FSPH’s UCLA Center for Health Policy Research
- Guatemalan Survey of Family Health
- Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study
- Tools for Health Forecasting
- Win-Win Project (showing health impact to populations and value to governments of policies, systems, and programmatic innovations)
- WORLD Policy Analysis Center data
- A hybrid approach to estimating national scale spatiotemporal variability of PM2.5 in the contiguous United States, and
- Biostatistics data tools
As the availability of publicly available data grows, so too will the possibilities of driving forward research and innovation, good policymaking, and an increase in knowledge and interest in public health among the general public and members of the media.
